Book extra users

Every app’s plan includes a set number of users — you as the owner count as one of them; how many your plan includes is shown on the app’s Plan & subscription page. If you need more, you book Extra users without changing your plan: at a monthly price per user that the card shows (net), changeable any time. Only the workspace owner can book them.

Where you book them

• In your account under Store — the link sits in the header right next to Dashboard. Each extension has a card there; the Extra users card shows the price and what you have already booked.
• In the app at the limit — when every place is taken, you as the owner see Add users in the strip Every seat on your plan is taken. under Members & Roles → Team members. The link opens the booking straight for this app.

• On your app’s Plan & subscription page — at the bottom of the Your plan card with Add extensions (or Change extensions once you have some). The link opens the booking straight for that app.

Only with a paid plan

Extra users are available for apps on a paid plan billed monthly through Mollie. During the trial the card is marked Not available yet and reads Available as soon as one of your apps with this extension is on a paid plan. — at the bottom, Choose a plan for Invoice takes you straight to the app’s plans. On Enterprise and on a contract by invoice we agree the number of users with you directly.

Book extra users

1. At the bottom of the Extra users card, click Book.

2. Under For which app? choose the app. Only apps the extension exists for and that run on a paid plan are offered.

3. Enter the number under How many new user seats do you need? Right below you see the total, for example 6 users in total — 3 included + 3 extra.

4. Check the amounts in the grey box:

   • for example 3 × 4,50 € = 13,50 € / month plus 19% VAT — what the extra users cost per month,
   • Charged today: … (pro rata until …) — the amount for the days until your next billing date, or Free until … when it is under €1,
   • Your new monthly amount: … incl. 19% VAT — your whole subscription from the next billing date.

5. Click Book and pay (or Add when nothing is charged today).

The amount is charged to your saved payment method and the new places apply at once — you can invite more members right away. The card then reads, for example, Invoice · 3 users · 13,50 €/month, and the app’s member page shows 3 of 6 seats taken — hover over it to see 3 included + 3 extra.

You receive two emails: the confirmation “Your extensions have changed” to you as the owner, and the invoice for the pro-rata amount to your billing address. You also find the invoice under Invoices.

Good to know

• One subscription, one billing date. The extra users run on the same subscription as your plan and renew with it. From the next billing date they appear as their own position on the same monthly invoice.
• The price stays. You pay the price from the day of your first booking for extra users — also when you add more later.
• From 20 users the booking shows a note about an Enterprise offer. You can still book; talk to us if an offer of your own works out better for you.
• If the payment is declined, nothing is booked — check your payment method and try again.

Change the number

At the bottom of the card, click Change — if you booked the extension for several apps, pick the app in the menu. How many extra user seats in total? shows the number you booked — enter the new one.

• More: only the difference is charged, pro rata until the next billing date. The new places apply at once.
• Fewer: the reduction applies from your next billing date; nothing is charged today. Until then you can keep using every paid place. Confirm with Reduce from … — the card then reads, for example, From 15 Nov: 1 user (2 removed).
• 0: the extra users end on the next billing date.

Changed your mind? Open Change again, enter the booked number and click Take the reduction back. You get a confirmation email for that as well.

Never fewer than the active users

You can’t reduce below the number currently in use. If, for example, 5 users are active and 3 are included in your plan, at least 2 extra users are needed — the booking then says Remove members first to go lower. Suspend or remove members or pending invitations first.

If you invite more members before the billing date, UNENO suspends the most recently added ones above the new limit on the billing date — just like moving to a smaller plan (member limit). Nothing is deleted.

What happens when you cancel

• You cancel the app’s plan: the extra users run with the plan until the end of the paid month and then end with it — you don’t need to cancel them separately.
• You move to Enterprise or to a contract by invoice: the extra users end with the change; the number of users is then part of your offer.
