Invoices & quotes — the options
The Invoices & quotes card decides what new invoices and quotes are prefilled with and what they state. You find them under Settings → Documents settings → Invoices & quotes — once UNENO Invoice is activated. A changed value carries a blue dot, and the card’s foot shows how many changes aren’t saved yet. Click Save changes; Discard brings back the saved values. If you leave the page with unsaved changes, UNENO asks first.
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Default payment term | How long a new invoice has until it’s due: No due date, 7, 14 (the default), 21, 30, 60 or 90 days. It prefills Payment term (days) — in new invoices, in schedules and in invoices created from a quote. You can change it on any invoice. |
| Electronic invoicing (E-Rechnung) | Issues invoices to businesses and public authorities in Germany as ZUGFeRD or XRechnung — see Set up e-invoicing. Off by default; only shown if your company is based in Germany. |
| Show source quote on invoice | On by default: an invoice created from a quote states Ref. quote with the quote’s number in its header. |
| Quote validity | How long a new quote is valid: No expiry, 14, 30 (the default), 60 or 90 days. It prefills Valid until in new and duplicated quotes. Once that day has passed, the quote expires — see the quote list. |
| Show the country on domestic addresses too | Off by default: as DIN 5008, the country is only printed for addresses abroad — a customer in another country than your company. Switched on, it’s always printed: in the address, the delivery address and the sender line above the address. This applies to quotes and invoices. |
