A product's overview
Every product has its own overview. It shows where the product is used, and next to it what it is: its details and its history. So you find, for example, the recurring invoices you want to update after a price change straight away.
Open the overview
Section titled “Open the overview”In the product list, click a product’s reference or name. Archived products have an overview too. ‹ Products & Services at the top left takes you back to the list.
Where the product is used
Section titled “Where the product is used”On the left, every kind of document the product appears in has its own card. In the invoicing app these are:
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Quotes | Every quote with the product — number, customer, tax rate, price, date and status. |
| Invoices | Every invoice with the product, the same columns. At the top right it says what you’ve billed with the product — the total from issued invoices, net. |
| Recurring invoices | Every series with the product — series and frequency, customer, next invoice, tax rate, price and status. |
- Price is the amount of the lines with this product in that document — net on top, gross below. If the product appears several times in one document, the row adds those lines up.
- A click on the number opens the document.
- From six entries on, you page within the card itself.
- Drafts don’t count. A card shows only what’s issued — and only cards with at least one entry appear. If the product isn’t used anywhere, you see Not used anywhere yet.
Details and history
Section titled “Details and history”On the right — at the very top on a phone — are the product details: reference, type, name and description, then unit, tax rate and price, then status, created and last changed. The switch next to Status archives or restores the product.
Below them, the history shows what happened to the product — newest first, with the person’s name and the time. For a change you see every changed field with its old and new value, for example Net price: €95.00 → €99.00.
Edit at the top right changes the product — as described under Add or edit a product. After saving, the page shows the new values.
