Archive, restore or delete products
When you no longer offer a product, archive it: it can’t be picked any more. Documents that already contain it stay unchanged.
Archive and restore
Section titled “Archive and restore”In the product list, the Status column has a switch for every product — the same one sits in the product’s overview under Product details:
- Archive: turn it off on an active product. You see Product “[name]” archived. — the product now reads Archived.
- Restore: turn it back on on an archived product. You see Product “[name]” restored.
Both happen at once, without a question — the product stays in the list, so you can flip it straight back. All statuses → Archived shows only the archived products.
Delete a product
Section titled “Delete a product”You can delete only a product that isn’t used anywhere — one you added by mistake, say. A product in use stays, so its overview is kept; archive it instead.
-
Click ⋮ → Delete on the product — active and archived products alike.
-
If the product isn’t used anywhere, confirm with Delete. This can’t be undone. You see Product “[name]” deleted.
-
If it’s still in use, the window Product still in use tells you where and how often. Archive instead archives it right away; if it’s already archived, View overview opens its overview.
