Archive, restore or delete customers

If you no longer work with a customer, archive it: it can’t be picked any more, for example when you write an invoice. Everything that belongs to it stays — its documents, its overview, its history.

In the customer list, the Status column has a switch for every customer — the same switch is in the customer details on its overview:

  • Archive: switch it off for an active customer. You see [Name] was archived.
  • Restore: switch it back on for an archived customer. You see [Name] was restored. — with the same customer number.

Both happen right away — the customer stays in the list, so you can switch it straight back. To see only the archived customers, use All statuses → Archived.

If recurring invoices run for the customer, UNENO asks first: they pause at their next run.

You can only delete a customer that isn’t used anywhere — one you added by mistake, for example. A customer in use stays, so its overview stays too; archive it instead.

  1. Click ⋮ → Delete on the customer — for active and archived customers alike.

  2. If the customer isn’t used anywhere, confirm with Delete. This can’t be undone. You see [Name] was permanently deleted.

  3. If it’s still in use, the window Customer still in use tells you where and how often. Archive instead archives it right away.
