Change your email address

Your email address is your username at UNENO: you sign in with it, and it’s where we send one-time codes and notices about your account. When you switch to a new address, you confirm it with a code — only then does it take effect.

Before you start

Section titled “Before you start”
  • You need your password and access to the new address’s inbox.
  • The new address must not belong to another UNENO account yet. Each address has exactly one account.
  • If you only sign in with Google and have no UNENO password, you see the note Your account signs in with Google, so your email address is managed through your Google account. instead of the form.

Change your email address

Section titled “Change your email address”

  1. Click your name at the top right and choose Change email.

  2. Enter the New email address and your Current password, then click Send verification code.

  3. We send a 6-digit code to the new address, with the subject Confirm your new UNENO email address. Enter it in the six boxes and click Confirm new email.

Done: you see Your email address has been updated. From now on, you sign in with the new address.

What happens after the change

Section titled “What happens after the change”
  • Your previous address gets a security notice with the subject Your UNENO email address was changed. If you didn’t make the change yourself, contact us right away at the address in that email.
  • Your apps pick up the new address automatically, without you signing in again.
  • Your Google sign-in stays linked — it belongs to your Google account, not to the address.
  • The change appears in the activity log as Changed email address to [new address].
