Change your password

You need a new password when you’ve used the old one too often, someone might know it, or you simply want a stronger one. The change applies straight away — to your account and every app.

  1. Click your name at the top right and choose Change password.

  2. Fill in the three fields:

    FieldWhat to enter
Current password *Your existing password — so we know it’s really you changing it.
New password *At least 12 characters — ideally a sentence you’ll remember. It must differ from your current one; passwords found in known data breaches are rejected. The eye icon shows or hides what you type.
Confirm new password *The same new password again.
  3. To end all your other sessions, tick Sign me out everywhere after changing — see below.

  4. Click Update password.

Done: you see Your password has been updated. Your new password applies from your next sign-in.

Sign out everywhere — when does it make sense?

Section titled “Sign out everywhere — when does it make sense?”

Without the tick, you stay signed in, and your other sessions — on a second computer, for example — keep running until they expire.

With the tick, UNENO ends this and every other session, on all devices and in all UNENO apps. You see Your password has been updated. Please sign in again. and sign back in with the new password.

Always tick it if you suspect someone knows your old password — that’s the only way to end a stranger’s session right away.
