Recurring invoices at a glance
If you bill a customer regularly — monthly support or a yearly subscription, for example — set up a schedule for it. UNENO then generates the invoices automatically at the chosen interval. You find all schedules under Documents → Recurring invoices.
The list
Section titled “The list”| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| No. | The schedule’s number, such as #1 — not an invoice number; each generated invoice gets its own. |
| Customer | The customer, with their contact person below. |
| Frequency | The interval, such as Monthly, and below it what each run produces: Create a draft, Issue or Issue & send. |
| Next run | When the next invoice is generated — date and time. |
| Ends | The end date, how many invoices are still to come — such as 3 invoices left — or ∞ if the schedule runs indefinitely. |
| Total | The gross amount of each invoice. |
| Status | See below. |
- Search and filter: the search box finds schedules by number or customer name. All statuses, All frequencies and All customers narrow the list — also combined. A filter only appears when there’s something to choose: All frequencies with two or more frequencies, All customers with two or more customers. Reset clears every filter.
- Sort: clicking No., Next run or Total sorts the list, a second click flips the direction, a third returns to the default order — the newest schedules on top. A completed schedule has no next run and always sorts last by it.
- Open: clicking the number or the customer opens the schedule’s overview — with its next invoice, the invoices it generated and its history. To edit, use ⋮ → Edit.
Active, Paused, Completed
Section titled “Active, Paused, Completed”| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | The schedule is running and generating its invoices. |
| Paused | You stopped the schedule — or UNENO stopped it because its customer is no longer available, archived for example; then Customer unavailable appears below. No invoices are generated. |
| Completed | The end date or the maximum number has been reached. The schedule generates no more invoices. |
Pause and resume a schedule
Section titled “Pause and resume a schedule”On an active schedule, click ⋮ → Pause — or under Actions in its overview — and confirm with Pause.
To continue, click Resume — in the ⋮ menu or in the overview. The schedule then carries on with its next slot from today — periods that passed during your pause are not billed afterwards. If you need an invoice for such a period, create it by hand.
If UNENO paused the schedule (Customer unavailable), restore the customer first, then resume: the schedule catches up on the missed periods — one invoice per hour — since you never stopped the billing yourself.
Delete a schedule
Section titled “Delete a schedule”Click ⋮ → Delete — or under Actions in the overview — and confirm with Delete.
The invoices the schedule has already generated stay — only the schedule itself is removed for good.
