Data export at a glance
Data export gets your data out of UNENO — all invoices of a quarter as a PDF archive for your bookkeeping, for example, a month’s incoming payments, or your customers as an Excel sheet. UNENO keeps the finished files for you until you delete them.
What you can export
Section titled “What you can export”| Data | Formats | With items |
|---|---|---|
| Customers | CSV, Excel | – |
| Invoices | PDF archive (ZIP), CSV, Excel, DATEV | yes |
| Quotes | PDF archive (ZIP), CSV, Excel | yes |
| Payments | CSV, Excel | – |
Which data you see depends on your active apps: customers belong to your workspace and are always there; invoices, quotes and payments are there only if you’ve activated UNENO Invoice. Every further app you activate adds its own data here.
Open the page
Section titled “Open the page”In your app’s sidebar, under System, click Data export. The Data export card shows next to its title how many exports there are. New export at the top right starts a new one — see Create an export; Profiles opens your export profiles.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Export | Which data was exported. Below it the file name — click it to download the file. If an export failed, the reason shows there in red, for example that it is too big. |
| Format | PDF archive (ZIP), CSV, Excel (XLSX) or DATEV. |
| Status | Pending and Processing (amber, with a spinning icon) while UNENO builds the file, then Ready (green) — or Failed (red). |
| Rows | How many records are in the file. |
| Created | When the export was started — in your workspace’s date and time format (see General) — and below it, by whom. |
With many exports, page through them at the bottom right; on the left, Items per page sets how many fit on a page. On a phone, the status, format, rows and date sit under the export’s name.
If you haven’t exported anything yet, the card shows No exports yet. with New export below it.
Download or delete a file
Section titled “Download or delete a file”Click the file name under the export — or ⋮ → Download. When you no longer need the file, choose ⋮ → Delete. The question names the file; Delete export removes it.
