How a schedule's invoices are generated

While a schedule is Active, UNENO checks every full hour whether its Next run has come. Then its next invoice is generated — with the customer, line items, texts, payment term and language from the schedule, and the service period you chose. The schedule’s overview shows what it will look like beforehand; afterwards it lists every invoice the schedule has generated.

On each runResult
Create a draftAn invoice draft without a number. You review it in the invoice list and issue it yourself.
IssueAn issued invoice with its number and PDF. You can send it yourself afterwards.
Issue & sendAn issued invoice that UNENO emails to the customer right away — with your invoice email from Texts & Emails.

The invoice date of an issued invoice is the day it’s generated. It states the service period according to your setting: In advance, In arrears or None.

A schedule ends once the Max occurrences have been generated or the next run would fall after the Ends on date. It’s then listed as Completed.

UNENO doesn’t report a schedule’s problems by email — they appear in the History of the schedule’s overview and in your workspace’s activity log, as system entries. Look there if an invoice is missing or sitting as a draft.

What happensConsequence
Your plan’s document allowance is used upA schedule set to Issue or Issue & send creates the invoice as a draft. Issue it once the allowance is free again or after you upgrade.
The invoice can’t be issued — because the customer’s billing address is incomplete, for exampleThe invoice stays a draft, and the activity log notes it. Issue the draft yourself — you then see what’s missing and can complete it.
Sending fails — because the customer has no email address, for exampleThe invoice is issued but not sent — the activity log says … but couldn’t send it. Send it from the invoice list.
The customer is no longer available — archived or deletedThe schedule becomes Paused, with Customer unavailable. Restore the customer and resume the schedule — the missed periods are then caught up.
An unexpected errorThat period is skipped; the next invoice is generated at the next slot.

If a slot was missed — because your workspace was temporarily locked, for example —, UNENO catches up: one invoice per hour until the schedule is current again. Each gets today’s invoice date and the service period that was missed. There’s never a second invoice for the same period.

It’s different when you pause: whatever passed during your pause isn’t caught up when you resume.
