v1.0.8

v1.0.8

UNENO Invoice speaks French

France becomes UNENO’s second market: Invoice now speaks French — every screen, document and email — and companies based in France get invoices that follow French law, payment reminders under the French Commercial Code and Factur-X.

New

  • UNENO Invoice speaks French — Every screen, document and email in French — your UNENO account and the sign-in too. Choose French as your language; a company based in France gets its documents in French by default.

  • Invoices under French law — For companies based in France: every mandatory mention — both SIRENs, the legal form, share capital and RCS, the category of the transaction, the payment terms with the €40 flat fee — the French VAT rates with their notes, and the avoir. Learn more

  • French payment reminders — Reminders under the French Commercial Code: a friendly reminder first, late-payment interest from the due date and the €40 flat fee for recovery costs. Learn more

  • Factur-X for French customers — Companies based in France can issue their invoices to French business customers as Factur-X, checked against the French rules before they are issued. The connection to a certified platform is in preparation.

Improved

  • The VAT rate on every line — Every invoice line now shows its VAT rate. Learn more

  • The date picker in your language — The date picker in the editors shows the month and weekday names in your language, weeks from Monday.

  • Security update — The component that builds every email is on its latest version.

Security update

Security comes first for us. With this update we brought PHP and every component of UNENO Invoice to their latest versions, and protected the app against attackers who try to steer links and redirects to a foreign site through forged proxy headers — in the app and in the emails it sends.

We take protecting your data seriously: we keep UNENO up to date continuously, install security updates as soon as they are released, and regularly review the security of our own app.

v1.0.6

v1.0.6

A new design — and an overview for everything

The Suite in a new design — every page rebuilt: clearer lists that filter by date and status, overviews for every customer, item, quote, invoice and recurring invoice (the document exactly as your customer got it, with its actions and full history), forms that save per section and ask before you lose changes, and tables that work on a phone.

New

  • A customer overview — Every customer has an overview — revenue, open and overdue amounts, its quotes, invoices and recurring invoices, and its full history; create an invoice for the customer in one click. Learn more

  • Several addresses per customer — Several billing and shipping addresses per customer, each with its own name and recipient. Learn more

  • One address for billing and shipping — One address can be both the billing and the shipping address — change it once. Learn more

  • Delivery address on documents — Choose the customer’s billing address, and add a delivery address — printed on the PDF and carried in the e-invoice. Learn more

  • The customer’s own defaults — An internal note, and each customer’s own payment term and document language — a new invoice for them starts with these. Learn more

  • Finances per customer — A Finances card on the overview — invoiced and received over 30 days to 12 months, with a chart. Learn more

  • A product overview — Every product has an overview showing where it’s used — its quotes, invoices and recurring invoices, with what was billed — and a product in use is archived instead of deleted. Learn more

  • A quote overview — Each quote now shows the document itself — exactly the file your customer received — with its actions, details and full history beside it. A withdrawn or declined quote keeps its original look with a clear stamp. Learn more

  • An invoice overview — A new invoice overview — the invoice exactly as your customer got it, next to actions, details, payments, reminders and history. Cancelled invoices show the original, stamped, and the cancellation invoice. Learn more

  • A recurring invoice overview — Every series has an overview — with its next invoice, the invoices it generated and its history. Learn more

  • Preview the next invoice — A new editor with a preview — see the next invoice before it’s generated. Learn more

  • The country on addresses — The delivery address now sits right after the line items, the sender line names your country on letters abroad — and a new setting prints the country on every address. Learn more

  • Add users — At the user limit you as the owner add more users right away — €4.50 each per month, pro rata to your billing date and changeable any time. The members page shows how many are included in your plan and how many you added. Learn more

Improved

  • A new design — Every page in a new, calmer design — the same look as your UNENO account: clear cards and lists, forms that save per section, and the same layout on a phone and a desk.

  • The invoice list — A new list — one status instead of two (Open · Partially paid · Overdue · Paid), an Open column with the amount still due, and a date-range filter. Learn more

  • The invoice editor — The editor in the new design — the customer first, the service period in one field, add a missing shipping address right in the editor. Learn more

  • The quote editor — A clearer editor — the customer first, an amount on every line, a missing shipping address added without leaving the quote, and a question before unsaved changes are lost. Invoices and recurring invoices show the amount per line too. Learn more

  • The quote list — A cleaner list — filter by date range, sort by date and validity, and open a quote or its customer straight from the list. Learn more

  • The recurring invoice list — The list in the new design — filter by frequency, sort by number, next run and amount. Learn more

  • Reminders — Filter by step, payment and send date, open them straight from the invoice list — and download or delete the last reminder with its invoice. Learn more

  • The dashboard — One period for the whole page, compared with the period before or the previous year — overview, invoices with ‘Needs attention’ and finance; set the default period under General. Learn more

  • VAT IDs in the customer list — The list shows each VAT ID with its VIES result, and you can search by VAT ID. Learn more

  • The product list — Active and archived items on one page with a status filter, archive or restore with one switch, and the gross price right under the net price. Learn more

  • Tables on a phone — Tables look the same on a phone as on a desk — they scroll sideways with the actions always in reach.

  • Sortable columns — You can now see which columns sort — the sorted one shows its arrow, a third click clears the sort.

  • Forms as a panel — Forms now open as a panel on the right and ask before your input is lost; questions stay a small box.

  • IBAN and BIC checked — Contact and bank details in one card that saves together, and your IBAN and BIC are now checked — the IBAN shows and prints in groups of four.

  • General settings and number ranges — The options save together with discard, and number ranges are a clear list — the next number first, edited in a sheet that shows it live. Learn more

  • Team members — A clear list with each person’s role and status and their actions in one menu, the invite and role forms only save a change — and removing a member now frees their role too. Learn more

  • A clearer export — Data, format and filter in one clear card with quick date ranges like “Last year”, the number of matching records before you start, and the columns as a tidy table you can rename and reorder. Learn more

  • The activity log — Search by person, filter by type, actor and date with quick ranges, and see who did what in clear columns.

Fixed

  • Security updates — Every server running UNENO has the latest PHP security updates, and the security findings in our build tools are fixed.

  • A paused series keeps its start — A paused series keeps its start date when you edit it. Learn more

  • The customer card on a phone — On a phone the editor’s customer card was missing — it is back at the top. Learn more

  • Month names in dates — With a date format showing the month’s name, Support showed a letter instead of it.

v1.0.5

v1.0.5

DATEV export and a payments export

Your invoices now go straight to your tax adviser’s DATEV — as a booking batch, with your customers as debtors. Data export also has a payments export, and every payment shows who recorded it.

New

  • DATEV export — Export your invoices as a DATEV booking batch for your tax adviser, with your customers as debtors (Settings → DATEV). Learn more

  • Payments export — New in Data export: a payments export — every payment and reversal with date, invoice, customer, method and who recorded it — and a payment-status filter (open, partially paid, paid, overdue) for invoices and payments. Learn more

Improved

  • Who recorded a payment — The payments on an invoice now show who recorded them. Learn more

v1.0.4

v1.0.4

Reverse payments, quote actions and reminders as sent

While writing our documentation we checked every screen — and fixed what we found: payments can be reversed, quotes act from their own page, reminders keep their stage and PDF, and many texts are clearer.

New

  • Reverse a payment — A wrongly recorded payment can now be reversed from the invoice page. Learn more

  • Default quote validity — New quotes are now valid for 30 days by default (adjustable in the settings). Learn more

  • Actions on the quote’s own page — A quote can now be converted, declined, withdrawn or duplicated from its own page, and a withdrawn, declined or expired quote downloads stamped. Learn more

  • Changelog and documentation in the sidebar — The sidebar now links to the Changelog and the documentation.

Improved

  • Reminders stay as sent — Reminders keep their stage and PDF exactly as sent, the invoice page asks before sending, and the default reminder texts are clearer. Learn more

  • Recurring invoices report every run — Recurring invoices now say clearly what each run did, can be restarted, catch up after an automatic pause, and link to the invoices they generate. Learn more

  • Date of supply on every invoice — Invoices without a delivery date now state that the date of supply is the invoice date. Learn more

  • Texts & Emails in your language — Texts & Emails opens in your language and saves every language you changed. Learn more

  • Texts & Emails says why — Texts & Emails tells you why a text couldn’t be saved, and a cleared opening text stays cleared. Learn more

  • The e-invoice check names the right page — The e-invoice check now names the Business profile settings page. Learn more

  • Country names in your language — The customer list now shows country names in your language. Learn more

  • The app switcher in your language — The app switcher now speaks your language.

  • Clearer wording, a line editor for smaller screens — Clearer wording across the invoice app, and the line editor now fits smaller screens.

  • Support — Support — clearer limits and messages when opening or answering a ticket.

Fixed

  • Correcting a paid invoice — Correcting a paid invoice no longer records its payment twice, and invoices with a zero total count as paid. Learn more

  • E-invoices never silently a PDF — E-invoices are never silently swapped for a plain PDF, and the e-invoice switch only applies to companies based in Germany. Learn more

  • No German small-business rule abroad — E-invoices of VAT-exempt companies outside Germany no longer cite the German small-business rule. Learn more

v1.0.3

v1.0.3

E-invoice checks, dunning and tax choice

Our biggest update so far: e-invoices are checked before they are issued, reminders get a reminder stop, default interest and public holidays — and every tax decision stays yours.

New

  • Sending history — Invoices and quotes now show a sending history — when, to whom (and copy), how and by whom. Cancellation notices can be sent again from the document page, failed sends through your own mail server say what went wrong, and the TLS setting now really requires encryption. Learn more

  • E-invoice check before issue — E-invoices are checked before they are issued — you see exactly what’s missing; the invoice list shows each invoice’s format. Learn more

  • Cancellation of an e-invoice as an e-invoice — Cancellation invoices of e-invoices are now e-invoices too — a credit note referencing the cancelled invoice. Learn more

  • 0 % rates with their reason — You decide the tax treatment: a 0% tax rate now carries its reason (reverse charge, intra-community supply, export, not taxable …) with the matching note and e-invoice category, and UNENO never changes the rate you chose. Learn more

  • Tax hints in the editor — The invoice editor now points out tax choices that don’t fit the customer (e.g. reverse charge without a VAT ID), and UNENO never issues an e-invoice that would be rejected. Learn more

  • VAT ID check with VIES — Customers’ VAT IDs are now checked with the EU’s VIES register (with a consultation number as proof), the customer form warns about duplicates, and the customer list sorts by name and number. Learn more

  • Reminder stop — Stop reminders (Mahnsperre) for one invoice or a whole customer — with a reason, manual and automatic. Learn more

  • Default interest and €40 flat fee — Reminders can add default interest and the €40 late payment flat fee (§ 288 BGB) — off by default, your rates. Learn more

  • Service period on recurring invoices — Recurring invoices now state their service period — in advance or in arrears, set per schedule. Learn more

  • Year and month in number ranges — Number ranges can carry the year and month (INV-2026010001) and start again every year or month; every change is logged. Learn more

  • Revenue by payment or invoice date — The dashboard counts revenue the way you pay VAT — by payment (incl. partial payments) or by invoice date — and compares fairly with last month. Learn more

  • Export customers and quotes — Exports now include customers and quotes, the invoice export includes cancellation invoices, exports use your language, and CSV files open correctly in German Excel (semicolon + decimal comma). Learn more

  • Change roles, resend invitations — Change a team member’s role, resend an invitation, and see right away when there is no role to invite with. Learn more

Improved

  • Net amount per VAT rate — Invoices with several VAT rates now show the net amount each rate is charged on (§ 14 UStG); invoices without VAT no longer print an empty “VAT 0%” row. Learn more

  • Your company as the sender — Emails sent through UNENO now show your company as the sender (“Your Company (via UNENO)”) instead of “UNENO”. Learn more

  • Every invoice keeps its format — Every invoice keeps the format it was issued in — PDF, ZUGFeRD or XRechnung — shown in its own column, even if you switch e-invoicing on or off later. Learn more

  • Cancellation invoices with their own prefix — Cancellation invoices get their own number prefix and always name the invoice they cancel; cancelled invoices show their cancellation. Learn more

  • Reminder deadlines skip public holidays — Reminder deadlines now skip public holidays, and automatic reminders are never sent on weekends or holidays. Learn more

  • Document texts without gaps — Invoice texts no longer print half-empty sentences: a line whose placeholder has no value (e.g. no service period or no due date) is left out. Changing the document language keeps texts you edited, and Texts & Emails marks your customized texts. Learn more

  • Documents fully in their language — Documents now speak their own language throughout: country names, standard units and labels follow the document language, a domestic address no longer prints the country (DIN 5008), a cancellation keeps its invoice’s date format, and form messages appear in German for German users. Learn more

  • Full names in the tax dropdown — The tax dropdown on line items now shows the full name of every rate. Learn more

  • Your company’s number format — Tax rates and quantities on screen now use your company’s number format (e.g. “8,1 %” and “1,5” for German companies). Learn more

  • “Artikel” in the German interface — German interface: the catalogue is called “Artikel” everywhere; an entry’s type is “Ware” or “Dienstleistung”. Learn more

  • Account deletion erases all files — Deleting your account now also erases all stored files (PDFs, e-invoices, exports, logos) — not only the database.

Fixed

  • Default VAT rate for products — Products without their own tax rate now get your default VAT rate on invoices, quotes and recurring invoices (they got 0 % before). The line search also finds products by SKU. Learn more

  • Unit code after a rename — The e-invoice unit code is now fixed when you pick the unit — renaming a unit later no longer turns it into “C62” on drafts, quotes or recurring invoices. Unit names must be unique. Learn more

  • Names of the prepared 0 % rates — The prepared 0 % tax rates no longer repeat the rate in their name. Learn more

  • Deleting an export in progress — Deleting a data export while it is still being created no longer leaves its file behind. Learn more

  • Safari toolbar after a dialog — Closing a dialog no longer leaves the browser’s toolbar dark in Safari.

v1.0.2

v1.0.2

Copy to (CC)

Every document email can now go to a second address in copy.

New

  • Copy to (CC) for customers — Customers can have a second email address, “Copy to (CC)”: invoices, quotes, cancellations and reminders go to their main address with this one in copy — so accounting and the owner both see them. Learn more

New
